SANDY VASTOLA SELECTED AS FELLOW OF THE FUTURE OF POLICING INSTITUTE

I am thrilled to share that I have been selected as a Fellow of the Future Policing Institute (FPI). The Institute's mission is to shape an effective, empathetic, and just future of policing. Established with the vision of developing strategic foresight in policing, FPI helps law enforcement, policymakers, and community leaders navigate and influence the uncertainties of the future. One of its guiding principles is, "The best way to predict the future is to create it!" 

A key component of the Future Policing Institute is the Center on Policing and Artificial Intelligence (COP-AI). This center is dedicated to aiding practitioners, policymakers, and community members in ensuring the safe and responsible application of artificial intelligence in policing. COP-AI's Model Policy on AI provides a comprehensive framework that police organizations can adopt or adapt to formulate their own AI policies. Additionally, the center offers free webinars, podcasts, and a wealth of AI-related resources to enhance understanding and implementation.
